Aisling Camps creates exquisite handmade knits. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2013 with a specialization in knitwear, Aisling started her eponymous brand at home in Trinidad. In 2015 Aisling relocated to New York to bring the clean, modern Caribbean aesthetic to a wider audience. Each piece is handmade and meticulously finished in her home studio in Brooklyn.
With so many exclusive pieces in the new collection to choose from, I selected three necessities for your wardrobe. Please allow the designer two to three weeks for production, with such gorgeous handcrafted designs, what is a little wait.
My first pick is the Cleo Turtleneck. I adore a Turtleneck sweater, it is elegant and with the perfect accessories can be divinely paired for a chic minimalist look.
Something else I have my eyes on is the Cascade Dress. I am only going to give you a peak of the back of this luxurious design. This dress is sexy but yet looks so comfortable. Visit the site to see the full look. I am sure you will agree.. it is divine.
Then there is this… I really like the details of the Stalactite Skirt, I can only imagine how it would feel on the skin, made from high-end italian yarn. This can be worn in the Caribbean heat with sandals or for Fall with your boots.
If you want to know who is the gorgeous lady in the lookbook, she is model Fariel Ali-Khan who also appeared in the Conflict Women Ltd campaign. She has also modelled for Meiling, Made by Soka, Rhion Romany and more.
